What are the three paintings in blasphemous? ›

There is a puzzle room in the bottom right section of this area, the room with three paintings: one of a bleeding palm and the other two depicting a blue and red candle. To solve this puzzle, equip the Big Bead of Blue Wax and Big Bead of Red Wax rosary beads.

The door on the right leads to a room with three paintings. In here, you need to solve a puzzle to open a door on the right. To solve this puzzle, equip a Big Bead of Red Wax and a Big Bead of Blue Wax to your rosary. Then cut yourself to open the door.

After The Sleeping Canvases

With the Blood Perpetuated in Sand and Three Gnarled Tongues equipped, you can go through the lift and climb up onto the ledges and vines that appear, to reach the Cherub above. Use a ranged attack to grab it. Once you've got this, drop back down and take the lift up.

The game is set in Cvstodia, a land of religion, highly influenced by Roman Catholicism, its iconography, Holy Week in Spain and Spanish culture, particularly that of Andalucía. The land is hallowed by a force known as "The Miracle" (also referred to as "Sorrowful Miracle" or "Grievous Miracle").

Turn all the pieces up the right way

By turning the pieces all to face upwards, you'll be able to see the image clearly and it will save time having to go through each piece individually. It is also easier to look at pieces and see if they match colours or patterns and be able to sort them together (see tip number 4!).

Jocinero is found in the Sleeping Canvases inside a painting of a bull, directly to the left from the second Prie Dieu altar. He is a large infant with a golden head and holds a horn that wraps around his wrist. He is presumably the first of the Children of Moonlight.

When you reach Albero, you'll encounter a church. You can talk at this window, to meet Ludivico, who has a side quest for you to complete. When you leave and return to the area after defeating Ten Piedad, you'll find that the church is also opened, so you can go inside.

Pick up the Key of the Secular and then, head for the door. Go to the right, then pull the lever and ride all the way up to the top. Go to the door on the far left, past the ladder and use the Key of the Secular to open it.

Yes. After getting an ending and loading the save file, you're back at the same altar before the final boss. That also allows you to get both endings in the same playthrough regardless of which one you got first if you'd like to.

Take the Marks of Refuge to Cleofas

You want to access the room with Socorro, Our Pious Lady of the Perpetual Agony. Approach her and make an offering, by giving her the Mark of the First Refuge, Mark of the Second Refuge and Mark of the Third Refuge.

In Blasphemous, you'll find various Relics that you can equip to alter the world around you. The Linen of Golden Thread is one of the seven Relics you can find, and it allows you to fall into bottomless pits without dying.

Acquired in the Graveyard of the Peaks, in the same room as the Confessor statue. Equip the Immaculate Bead until it is engulfed in guilt after a few deaths. Allows entering the portals left by the destroyed Statues of Confessors, and is required for the true ending.

The Tears of Atonement are the currency in Blasphemous which you receive by killing enemies. The number of Tears that you get rewarded with depends on the enemy or boss, as well as other factors such as the items you have equipped.

The Wounds of Eventide update added a third ending, Ending C, which is considered the true or canonical ending. Unlike the other two endings, ending C does not unlock an achievement.
